Vintage Limited Edition No 43 of 500 from the 1980’s
Made by Hermann Teddy Original, the famous German teddy bear and stuffed animal company established 1912 in Sonneberg (Former East) Germany but moved to Hirschaid in West Germany in 1948.
– he retains ID:
—- red plastic Hermann tag
—- white arm tag with red writing
—- her foot is embroidered in black 43/500
– he is made of a long soft gold mohair with a cone nose which is constructed of clipped mohair in the same color
– he has brown/black eyes
– she has an black floss hand stitched nose and mouth
– tan ultra suede paw pads
– he is dressed in a black wool felt tunic with an orange jack-o-lantern decoration on the lower left. It is gathered at the neckline. The orange ribbons are not original
– he is about 11 in tall / 9″ sitting
– 5-way jointed
– he is in good or better condition – there is a divot and stain on the left paw and the original neck orange felt neck decoration is replaced with a ribbon. A cute little bear – offered at a nice price and dressed for the season!
