HTF Vintage Schuco Bigo Bello Boy Flexi Fox – Dressed Reynard Doll – 14″ Tall – Mohair – Poseable

Schuco Bigo Bello Boy Flexi Fox – Dressed Reynard Doll:
part of the wonderful Hegi Production line of dressed animals made by Schuco in West Germany of the 1950’s/1960’s era

– He’s about 14″ tall
– made of mohair and cloth
– he has made of red chestnut and white mohair; his tail is made of slightly longer red chestnut mohair
– his pelvis and thighs are made of red and white striped cotton cloth
– he is unjointed but his arms and legs are bendy with wires enclosed within the limbs; the wires move well without any breaks or kinks
– brown and black eyes
– clear crisp filament whiskers;
– he has a black molded nose
– he has an embroidered black floss mouth and claws
– there are airbrushed accents on his ears and near his eyes
– he has all his original clothes:
—- yellow wool felt vest with black felt ‘buttons’
—- green cotton pants with red felt belt with silver button
– Excelsior stuffed head and his body is firm enough to stand erect when it leans against something
– non-working belly squeaker
– sorry no ID but guaranteed to be a vintage Schuco piece
– While he is an absolutely stunning piece, before I acquired him, his mohair had been grazed in spots on the red parts of the outer arms and feet – it’s not noticeable unless you are fairly close or feel along the fabric. You’ll be able to to see detail in the photos
